Planet Arc are holding an annual national tree day. It is an opportunity for you and your organisation or school, to take part in a community event and plant a tree.

Not only will you feel the satisfaction of knowing you have done something that will make a difference, you will also be able to revisit the tree you helped into existance for the duration of the tree's life. It is a wonderful way to make your mark on the world. You may even be able to show the tree to your Children and thier Grandchildren in years to come.

It is also a great way for schools and corporate organisations to build a good name for themselves, to show that they are doing all that they can to keep our environment green

The day itself falls on Sunday 2 August ,however the day designated for Schools falls on

Friday 31 July
