The last couple of weeks have been pretty rank and stormy in sou’west WA. Fringe benefit = sand movement = sand banks! So when the ocean settled down and the heavens parted on Sunday morning, there were some pretty epic little sandbanks set up along Perth’s metro beaches.

Tommy Innes and Mitch-hell Taylor were hot on the scent having scouted out some nice uncrowded banks “somewhere” on the metro coast. The boys were ducking and weaving through tubes and hitting lips with a vengeance.

The wind was in by 12 though and the perfect conditions were all but a memory. Hope you’ve been getting amongst some of the action!

Some of my premium photo-art is on display for sale at Cape Mentelle’s cellar door in Margaret River, the Wise restaurant in Eagle Bay, Dunsborough and The Dancing Goat Cafe in Swanbourne. So if you need something to populate that nagging empty wall and you’re in the neighbourhood, drop by and check it!

Check out the rest of my photographs and portfolio on my You can also subscribe to the Weekend Warrior weekley email there aswell.
