Starring: Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Isabel Lucas

Director: Michael Bay

Rated: M

Released: 24th June 2009

Sam (LaBeouf) is about to enter his first year of college like a normal young adult until the Autobots leader ‘Optimus Prime’ reminds him he is no normal boy and the fate of humans and the Autobots is in his hands. An old Prime is raised from his weaken state and ready to wreak havoc on Earth unless Sam can make sure he finds the key first.

For a sequel ‘Revenge of the Fallen’ lives up well to the first one except I felt like the final cuts were too fast and didn’t show enough ‘Transform’ detail as the first. We may have lost a little excitement knowing what to expect but the characters are still amazing. It does start a little slow and seems like it goes for a while but isn’t that what we want?! (The long time part not the slow start!). The battles are ten times better than the first but I have to betray my country and say how unimpressive Isabel Lucas is! After watching her on ‘ROVE’ it was hard to take her seriously as a villain. This time around the dialogue just reached that line that could have crossed over to silly, lucky they stopped when they did! Meh, its still GREAT! (If anyone watches it and agrees that Shia’s face looks like he had a fish allergy, I checked it out, he actually busted his eye on set.)

Rating: 4/5
