Police are waiting to interview an alleged armed robber who was injured during a bungled hold up at a Beechboro pharmacy.

The man suffered abdominal injuries when he was tackled, disarmed and restrained by two staff. A shot was fired from a sawn-off 303 off him during the scuffle.

What an idiot! Obviously chemists are popular places to break into, the chemist down the road from us was broken into a while back, but the guy didn't get away either- the police were there faster than you could say 'pharmaceuticals'!

Maybe if someone is breaking into my house, or I need the police to get to me quickly (as they aren't always the quickest to respond...) I should just say that I am at a chemist/I live in a chemist/my car is a chemist/my handbag is a chemist!?
