Ben Cousins, looking fit and in fine form, jumped back on the training bandwagon with WAFL club Perth Demons, yesterday at Lathlian Park.

Perth coach Simon Eastaugh sees Cousins training with the Demons as a real positive thing for his playing group and to have a footballer of his standard to set an example on the training track, is great for the young players coming through.

More than 100 fans and curious spectators were watching, as he kicked off training with the boys, like he had been part of the team for a while now. He moved freely - kicked with accuracy and was showing that he hadn't lost any of his skills that he had previously shown us when he was a West Coast boy.

Let's just hope that he can maintain good form both on and off the feild, to see a return to AFL football as soon as possible.

Maybe he can provide some much needed speed to their gameplay ;)

I think he is looking mighty fine. Good to see him back on the footy field.

I think Ben is looking fantastic. I saw him in Garden City the other day. I hope this launches him back into AFL quickly. He might not be well behaved off the field, but he is a gun with the footy.

Good on him. At least he's doing something good, and not out an about causing a ruckus on the town
