Apart from the grand final, it's one of the biggest nights on the calendar for the AFL players - the Brownlow Medal count.
The favourite for the medal is Geelong's Gary Abblett, followed closely by Jimmy Bartel. Goodluck to them, but I'm waiting to see what the 'WAGS' will be wearing. Who's with me on that? My friends and I are ready to bitch and moan about how good or bad the girls look, and ready to check out the boys! I couldn't really be fussed about the rest of it.
I know all the talk is that it has become more of a battle of the girls and who's wearing what, and the guys were criticised for 'dressing down' the occassion, no longer following the black tie rules.
