So yesterday was International Women’s Day – big shout out to all the ladies out there! 

Obviously we are the better of the two sexes, there are lots of songs about girls and our fantastic features and what we get up to… “Girls, Girls, Girls, Long legs and burgundy lips, Girls, Dancin' down on Sunset Strip, Girls, Red lips, fingertips… thanks Motley Crue, but we also get the guys curious when it comes to fitting into our tight, cleavage showing, leg revealing outfits!!

Not only do  girls enjoy being girls, but I know that my guy friends, when given the chance, find any excuse to dress up as girls… most parties I go to have pretty straight forward themes, but the guys work their way around it and find themselves in dresses and with “fake tissue paper boobs”.  I confirmed my findings on Saturday night when I attended an “All that Glitters” party, arriving to what looked like the Mardi Gras after party (shame we were a week late!)

It always amazes me how guys that are 6”5 tall and have shoulders 3 times wider than the normal female can fit themselves into a hip hugging dress or manage to keep a short skirt that is made for a girl with hips – on their nonexistent hips!  It also seems that when they are dressed in girls clothes, they can dance like girls and not feel stupid – I witnessed this with an exhibition of Beyonce ‘krumping’ on the dance floor.

Oh and also, regardless of the theme of a party, there will always be the odd pair of guys that embrace the ‘Britney Spears’ style – wearing minimal clothing and think nothing of it!
