Am I the only one who really really enjoys Gordon Ramsay on TV?

I mean, he is great. He tells it exactly how it is. No pansy footing around or worrying about political correctness - if you muck about on his show - he'll bleeding well tell you to the face in no un-certain terms.

Gordon seems to be the focus for much negative attention from the media at the moment. I just put down today's paper in fact after reading yet another snobby nosed article from some journalist who thinks his word is gospel. How do you attack Gordon! You are not worthy!!!

I say bring it on - I love his shows and he is simply a crack up to watch. What's even better is the current American series. Those poor yanks are just not used to being berated by the likes of Gordon. You know America, all happy happy with cheesy stories and "everyone loves each other" themes. It's simply wonderful to watch the Brit tear shreds of them.

We need MORE shows like this. Telling it how it is. If someone is crap at something, tell them they are crap at it - maybe they will get better. I for one can think of a LOT of restaurants in Perth that could use a good kick in the behind. Oh, imagine the outrage and Today Tonight specials if Gordon came to Perth to produce a series!

I guess it's fitting to finish my rant in the impeccable Gordon Ramsay style and say that if you don't like the show, then well you can go and #*!&%$@! thank you very much, cheers!

Nice one Hoff :)

I personally love his shows also - they are a good laugh - good tv. I think you have got to realise that a lot of the stuff that happens is scripted and edited in a very exciting way.

In this world you have to have a difference - and Gordon has his. Not bad for an ex-footballer (soccer) who then went on to become one of Britain's most famous and wealthy chef's.

There are definately some cringe moments - particularly the one where he called the french chef a french c........ I mean that even shocked me and I thought probably not suitable for 8.30pm. Anyway, the more people argue over his show, the more popular it will become.

I actually prefer the 'drama' in his shows more than in the other cooking shows (and his unique sense of humour)

I like the time he did the a Christmas show where he showed us how to cook turkey - and he named the turkeys Jamie, Nigela and Ainsley.

I love Gordon Ramsey, I watched a report on Today Tonight last night giving him shit, about how he goes out and tells all these people that their restaurants are crap but in actual fact his restaurants are also really shit too. I don;t care, I think he's hilarious... just saying it how it is! I love watching his shows and if you get offended by him, don't watch it! I know some Perth restaurants/pubs that need a visit from Gordon Ramsey, yet as a result of that, some of my favourite restaurants might get closed down! Ha! GO GORDON!
