Am I the only one who really really enjoys Gordon Ramsay on TV?
I mean, he is great. He tells it exactly how it is. No pansy footing around or worrying about political correctness - if you muck about on his show - he'll bleeding well tell you to the face in no un-certain terms.
Gordon seems to be the focus for much negative attention from the media at the moment. I just put down today's paper in fact after reading yet another snobby nosed article from some journalist who thinks his word is gospel. How do you attack Gordon! You are not worthy!!!
I say bring it on - I love his shows and he is simply a crack up to watch. What's even better is the current American series. Those poor yanks are just not used to being berated by the likes of Gordon. You know America, all happy happy with cheesy stories and "everyone loves each other" themes. It's simply wonderful to watch the Brit tear shreds of them.
We need MORE shows like this. Telling it how it is. If someone is crap at something, tell them they are crap at it - maybe they will get better. I for one can think of a LOT of restaurants in Perth that could use a good kick in the behind. Oh, imagine the outrage and Today Tonight specials if Gordon came to Perth to produce a series!
I guess it's fitting to finish my rant in the impeccable Gordon Ramsay style and say that if you don't like the show, then well you can go and #*!&%$@! thank you very much, cheers!
