The 2009 Telethon has raised an amazing $6.4 million for charity. Despite the recession everyone has donated generously for some very worthy causes (listed below). Telethon brings out the best in people with indivdual sponsorship, community supported charity events, big corporate sponsorship and government funding. Everyone has their part to play in helping make the lives of children that little bit better. If you would like to donate and be part of this record breaking fundraising event, you may do so at the telethon website.
