Yesterday, Fremantle Docker player was named the AFL's 2008 NAB Rising Star.
He beat Hawthorns Rioli for the Ron Evans Medal, which recognises the best young player in the AFL. He topped the poll with 44 votes, seven points clear of Rioli and 23 ahead of Richmond's Trent Cothin.
I think he was awesome to watch this season, he did alot for the club and has alot of potential. Well done to him, he's the second Docker to win the award, following Paul Hasleby in 2000.
Good on you Rhys!
