Two teams from Perth and Northam will attempt to enter the Guinness Book Of Records for the world's longest continuous game of floorball (for those unfamiliar with the sport, check out Wikipedia's overview).

This record has never been set before but requirements of the Guinness Book of Records is that the game be held over 24 hours following the international rules of floorball.

The attempt will be held at the Kingsway Recreation centre in Wanneroo over the Telethon Weekend October 13 and 14. Proceeds from the attempt will go to Telethon.
