A round watermelon can take up a lot of room in a refrigerater and the usually round fruit often sits awkwardly on refrigerator shelves. Right?

Well, smart Japanese Farmers have forced their watermelons to grow into a square shape by inserting the melons into square, tempered glass cases while the fruit is still growing on the vine.

Don't believe me? Check out the photographs!

How about a outdoor settings that packs away into a work of art, so that it can have a more pleasing look when not being used.

Check out the photos! There's all sorts of weird things out there. Who the heck thinks up all of these things?

Square cups in the dishwasher would be great! Love the watermelon also haha!

The trick with the couch is that while you're making everyone a double de-caf they are out on your verandah trying to figure out the couch system :)

I think that outdoor setting is stupid! It wouldn;t be fun trying to put it back together after a few drinks on a Sunday arvo

Yeah - i was thinking that Geoff - after a few drinks, it would be really tricky for some to get it packed up. Pretty cool though, good space saving idea, for people with small spaces.
