The exciting sport of Dragon Boat Racing has been practiced in Western Australia for 25 years. This relatively new sport caters for both serious and social paddlers consisting of male, female and mixed crews, as well as junior age groups through to those of the Master paddler. In recent years the sport has even seen the emergence of breast cancer crews. For the serious paddler, there is competition within the local clubs with teams gaining the opportunity to travel both interstate and internationally. The social paddler is represented with the opportunity to gain physical fitness and to make new friends in a healthy environment.
