Formed in August 2005 DSAWA came to be after a public meeting was held to "test the waters" and guage public interest in bringing surfing for the disabled to Western Australia. Many people with disabilities have been provided with the opportunity to get out an experience a bit more of what life is all about- fun and surfing!
