My mum, (Who i love dearly so dont get me wrong), had a brain tumor, it was the size of a grapefruit, she had it removed, had radiation, and is now in recovery. it has been 5 mnths since she was diagnosed. I understand that this was something VERY VERY serious and traumatic for her, i truly do, it was just as traumatic for us kiddies, who had to watch her go thru it.

OK HERES WHERE LANA SEEMS NASTY.. BUT IM REALLY REALLY NOT

maybe im just so used to the fact that she had cancer, But she is slowly eating away at me to the point i want to tell her to get the F$#k over it.(which is soo mean).

A girl cant even sit down to a medical show, and watch it in peace. Whether its House, ER, Allsaints, medical emergencies, Gosh, even when Toadie from Neighbours has a freaking heart attack, SHE STARTS!!!

this is just a small run down of what i have to hear " oh i remember those tubes down my throat" " My tumor was bigger then that" " OMG did they do that to me" " do you remember saying this lana" "i was so calm wasnt i lana" "blah blah fricken blah". I used to like medical shows, now i dread them coming on while she is in the room with me. It might sound petty, and nasty, but its constant. i even dream about her telling me about cathertas (sp).

When ppl ask her about her operation, she tells them all about it, in great detail, and then when we come home, She says to me " i wish ppl wouldnt ask, i really dont want to talk about it" Yet when anyone asks how she is, even strangers (poor homeswest guy) it starts " oh well i have been better" ARRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHH. Secretly she loves to tell them!!

I do feel bad for getting annoyed at her, she is the best mum ever, but i think she is forgetting we went thru this too, it was traumatic for us as much, if not more, then it was for her, we sat there, watching her on a breathing machine, we heard the drs say she had cancer and nearly died. i just dont need reminding.

ok rant over
