Profile

It’s been around for over a hundred years and when people think of animals in distress, it’s the service they’re most likely to contact… the RSPCA is far more than an animal charity, it is the recognised authority world-wide on animal welfare and has, we believe, a very special place in most people’s hearts.

Every year the RSPCA investigates thousands of cases of animal cruelty and neglect and rescues tens of thousands of animals all over Australia, nurturing them back to health and, where necessary, finding them new homes.

Much of the RSPCA’s work is dealing with domestic animals, particularly cats and dogs and that’s where its new relationship with LocoNut comes in. Every fortnight the RSPCA will be providing LocoNut visitors with a wide-variety of articles on animals and pets as well as posting our Pet-of-the-Week. That means when you come to visit LocoNut, you’ll also be visiting one of the most important parts of the RSPCA to boot!
