Perth Events and Perth Attractions

Hi, My name is Coby and I’ve been in Perth now for many years.  It always interests me to find out about new Perth events.  Since moving here I have seen a huge increase in the number of events, music festivals, art exhibitions etc.  I am currently on the search for the biggest and best events in Perth.

Here is a list of some of the best Perth events that I have been to:

Blues and Roots Festival in Fremantle – this is a cool, chilled out blues fest that is great for friends and family.

Rottofest Comedy Festival – another great addition to the Perth scene.  I went this year.  The comedy was ok (not great) but the vibe was good and it was a great weekend!

Big Day Out – I have been to this every year since it started.  I’m looking forward to Big Day Out 2013!

OK then, what are the best Perth attractions?

Perth Mint?  I’ve never been but I’ve heard good things.

Fremantle Prison – I finally got to go to the prision in Fremantle this year.  I went to the night time tour and it was a little scary.  Good fun!

Swan Valley Wine Tours – these are a must!  I have an eight seater van and we have gone on many trips out of Perth City into to Valley for wine – lots of wine.  Another good way to do the tour is on a boat up Swan River.
